Under extreme cornering, acceleration and deceleration oil slosh happens. Oil pan spacers and open oil pans with simple baffles do not help contain the oil around the pickup. In addition simple pan spacers do not prevent windage and oil aeration.

This fabricated pan uses a track proven, fully baffled, trap door design to maintain oil at the oil pump pick-up preventing fluctuating and/or loss of engine oil pressure. The pan also increases oil capacity by 1.5 Quarts (1.3 L).

Installation tips.

  • We suggest draining and removing the existing pan several hours or, if possible, the night before to ensure that all the oil has a chance to drain from the block.

  • Once the existing pan is removed, scrape and degrease the upper pan rail.

  • Install the provided studs into the upper pan rail with blue thread locking compound.

  • Using the supplied sealant, run a 2-3 mm bead around the entire pan rail, also going each bolt hole.

  • Install the pan, using a nut on each corner finger tight to hold it in place.

  • Install then remaining nuts, torque all nuts to 9 NM as per the factory procedure.
