What started as a “bucket list” event has turned into an obsession…

…to provide the best quality products that are track worthy and street friendly. Our primary test vehicle, a 2017 RS3, has multiple class and event wins a both national and regional events.

The Audi bug started with an S4, my first Audi. Not being content with the current off the shelf or repurposed products available we started working with multiple manufacturers to bring innovative and leading edge products to market. As a “Track Day Enthusiest” I found myself pushing myself and the platform harder and harder. An unfortunate run in with a 7 point buck at 55 mph resulted in my S4 getting totaled and that was the end of my first Audi.

As luck would have it I happened to come across a new “launch edition” 2017 RS3 and #OneOf250 was mine. With less than 1000 miles on it there were visits to the drag strip and an AutoX. Not being content with the dynamics of the car the first step was replacing the factory tires with a set of Michelin PS4S. With better tires I quickly started to find the first of many limits of the factory suspension. On my first track day at Road America, a brand new tire was destroyed due to the lack of factory camber and brake fade because of the shortcomings of the factory rotors resulted in a less than ideal track experience. I immediately reached out to GiroDisc and help them bring top quality aftermarket rotors to market for the platform as the first co-developed part. Next came power, where in early 2018 a relationship with #Unitronic was started and I began testing a Stage 1 and then Stage 2 ethanol tune. #OneOf250 was on it’s way to Drag Week 2018 which was cut short due to hurricane Florence . Testing continued and with no weight reduction and a set of Hoosier DR2 tires 10.5X 1/4 mile times were routine and are still some of the quickest passes for a similarly equipped RS3.

After multiple attempts to find a suitable track worthy spring setup that worked with the factory Mag Ride I partnered with Ground Control products to test a spring setup that would work with the factory mag ride suspension and worked with them to refine the existing camber plates for the RS3/TTRS. These parts are the same ones that are available in our store here. Next came bushing upgrades, chassis braces and much, much more…

obsession hit…One Lap of America 2019 was supposed to be a bucket list event but after we finished 13th out of 77 cars with one overall event win and multiple top 10 finishes I realized #OneOf250 was something special.
